What's Second Life?
Are you new to this whole Second Life (SL) thing and want to dive right in?
Well, first thing you should know is that its FREE to create an account and run around this immersive virtual world. The second thing to know is how; Bigpond has made it easy by setting up which is cut down on glitz and glam and cuts straight to an account creation screen. Follow the prompts there and you'll appear in world at one of the three Australian Orientation areas hosted by BigPond. All created by Top Dingo.
Once in-world we've developed a Head's Up Display (HUD) that you can wear to guide you along your orientation pathway, or you can follow the signs to orientation fullfillment.
